Nathan is new to Southwest Florida, but loving every minute. In December of 2014, Nathan switched gears, transferring from Louisville, Kentucky to become the Executive Chef at Florida Gulf Coast University. After a year and a half of working at FGCU and 13 years of being a professional chef, a career change was in order. He was blessed to meet his then future wife in November of 2015, and spending time with her became his top priority.
After years of hard work, leadership, and mentoring others in the culinary industry, his transition into The Roe Agency was simple because the greatest similarity between being a chef and being an insurance professional, is the PEOPLE! Helping people and building relationships is what brings him his greatest sense of fulfillment. A meal without friends and family to enjoy it with is just food and he believes a similar thing can be said about insurance; An insurance policy without an agent/client relationship is just numbers on a piece of paper.
